“ART FOR ANGELS” Art Sale to Benefit Local Adults
and Youths with Developmental Disabilities
Blue Moon Art Studio to host art sale to support Angels Bearing Gifts

Where: Blue Moon Art Studio, 23 East Pueblo, between State Street and Anacapa
On Sunday, June 2, Blue Moon Art Studio will host “Art for Angels,” an art sale to support the local nonprofit organization Angels Bearing Gifts. “Art for Angels” will include an exciting variety of over 100 artworks from painting to pottery to antique 19th-century photogravure prints. The eclectic offerings and wide range of prices will offer many choices to those who want to support Angels Bearing Gifts. 100% of the profit will be used directly to provide birthday and holiday gifts for the developmentally disabled in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties.
Angels Bearing Gifts benefits Santa Barbara community members with developmental disabilities by buying and delivering new holiday and birthday gifts to those who do not have families to remember them. Recipients fill out a “wish list” so that they have a chance to get gifts they really want and need (and that fit!). Last year Angels Bearing Gifts delivered over 600 packages to more than 200 residents from Carpinteria to San Luis Obispo.
“Art for Angels” represents the generosity of the Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo artists’ communities: local artists, including some from the Oak Group, have donated artworks for sale. Angels Bearing Gifts supporters including Kevin Hosseini, Noah Ehrenberg, and Kira Stoddard have contributed their own art for sale as well.
Other “Art for Angels” attractions include a performance by local music artist Kat Devlin (www.katdevlin.com) and free refreshments.
Angels Bearing Gifts also works to foster compassion within the community towards those with developmental disabilities via year-round educational outreach and volunteer activities. Angels is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a tax ID # 52-2407578. Volunteers always welcome! Donations gratefully accepted.
