Birthdays and holidays are wonderful opportunities to show the people you love just how much you care – but they can be tough on those without a family. Angels Bearing Gifts works to brighten up these special occasions for deserving individuals.
More than 200 people with developmentally disabilities in Santa Barbara & San Luis Obispo Counties, who have no family or no family contact, are on our list. Birthdays now bring handmade cards with a gift card enclosed, Valentine’s Day sees handcrafted notes of love, and that holly, jolly time of year comes with gifts.
Angels Bearing Gifts is comprised entirely of volunteers. Year-round, we foster compassion within the community toward those with developmental disabilities through educational outreach and volunteer activities. We are not a religious organization – just a bunch of angels with a lot of love to give.
Any donation is appreciated and will help us reach our goals of remembering all of our recipients. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization (tax ID #52-2407578), so you can give the gift of happiness to those we serve.
